2009 was a year that was full of ups and downs ...

I went into leadership in church , i left my job to better my studies, i saw geraldine's father came to christ in long piao piao's event, i became camp commandant for youth camp ...

Its has to be one of the most interesting years of my life as a human being and as a christian.

2010 seems to be a year full of challenges ahead ...

I have set out goals and resolutions for myself to attain.

1. I would love to visit the United States Of America ( Really wanna Go !!! Anyone wants to sponsor ??? )

2. I want to see myself develop into a god fearing and influential leader.

3. I want to continue the good results i've attained.

4. I want to expand my marketplace and impact the thousands of students i will meet within this year and plant the seed of salvation even if i'm not the one who would harvest it.

5. I want to be a great son to both God and my mother.

6. I want to be a great partner for geraldine.

7. If possible , i would also like a chance to serve in the worship ministry. ( If possible la )

8. Shed some weight ... =)

9. Start Saving for marriage.

10. Continue to save my school fees !

11. Be a blessing to others.

12. See more attend Friday night soccer

Sometimes i wonder if parents are a way to test your patience and remind you to Never be like them.

I find certain things extremely stupid especially when parents and even grandparents manipulate the status on being Filial ... What does it mean to be filial ? Does it mean if i buy you a meal means i'm filial ? Does it mean i send you to a place which is just 15 min to 30 min bus ride means i'm filial ?

On Christmas day, today, 25/12/09 ... i was faced with this issue and was labelled unfilial by my grandmother and was threatened by my very own mother that since i do not want to send them to place which they are going, she will not pay my school fees ...

I take threats very seriously and to be threatened over a stupid issue as such is making my blood boil ... I'm pissed at how my mother would always bring Geraldine into the picture about sending her home too often but its perfectly fine to send her friends all the way back or even send her friend's kid back ...

The car is meant to serve ppl ... True and fair enough ... it did serve its purpose ... But why only recognise that i only use it for Geraldine ? How about the other ppl whom have benefited from the car ?

Just because i'm not working now , does not mean i can be threatened using money as a subject ...

Its sad to see how my mother has stooped to such a low level and still thinks she is correct ...

Its only 2 more days effectively to camp and now i've lost my 5k for school fees ...

I'm not in the mood for anymore screw ups ...

Looks like school fees are going to be a headache ...

Decisions which i really have to make ...

As i delay my decision to tender, i'm honestly feeling very stressed about my studies and my well-being in general.

I try to make myself think that i can handle various things all at one time but to be honest i'm really just feeling the strain of having to work and study at the same time.

I'm suffering from over-loading of work and school work , consistently worried about missing datelines for school assignments while i attempt to manage the various datelines at work as well.

I'm really stressed ...

But i've come to a decision with myself ...

i shall not wait any longer ...

24th Sept would be my 1 yr in the company

i think it shall be my last too ...

I'm feeling really lousy recently about my work effectiveness at work ...

I seemed to have lost the drive to work or more like i feel its getting draggy on my boss's part to come up with a conclusion for me.

I'm unmotivated to work though i still give me best in everything i'm asked to accomplish in my present stage.

i just ask for peace when my mother finds out about my decision to leave my work ...

School has been fun so far ... Not the assignments though !!!

Alot at one go feels really weird hahaha ...

Somethings have been running through my mind ...

After several months of consideration along with prayer

I think i've come to a decision that i have to leave my job to ensure myself 100% focus on studies.

Its not a rash decision that everyone seem to think i'm making.

Its a decision that was thought carefully.

I'm 3/4 set to leave , i'm just left with breaking the news to my immediate boss about it and hoping she has options for me to earn some expenses for myself.

Well ... despite being sure of my decision, some people in my sphere of influence just cant seem to see things the way i do.. One of such is my mother. Its not surprise that she does not support my decision and its something that i'm well aware would have once i break the news to her.

I hate the fact that all she thinks is me making the wrong decisions, she does not see that its my studies that i'm putting first in priority ... All she thinks is me trying to take the easiest way out ...

To be Honest ... She's never really involved in my life to comment and she does not know my work load ... So i hate it when she comes and gives me all her ideas about how she feel ...

Seriously ...

All i need is just faith in me that i know what i'm doing ...

As i look back from the past to the present

I realised certain things which have been extremely consistent

The Church's soccer team hardly ever gets any support from the members.

Its extremely depressing to see such issues surface especially when we are supposed to be a church that is closely knitted.

I always ask when i was young, why dosent anyone come support the team ?

Are they too busy ? Are we just too lousy to be watched ? Or Do they just think we are not worth the time and effort ?

As i take up the role of the Coordinator for friday night soccer at the Cage and in general matters that concern the church soccer team, i get really pissed with people telling me they would turn up and eventually not appear and when i request for certain things to be done , nothing seems to be done.

Coordinating is something that i feel really showed me alot regarding how humans can behave. Is there no sense of belonging ? Do we always have to field a team full of friends In a so called CHURCH match ? Its not like we dont have the players...

I'm glad David believes in the team and has contributed to the buying 5 new soccer balls for the team. I really appreciate his kindess in helping out the team and i thank him for encouraging me with this phrase " Great things start small ".

Truely COSB church team very small... So small that when there is training , only 5 turn up last week ... Haha ... I find it amusing , 2 out of the 5 were not church members ...

Anyway ... 23rd May 09 , we will be having a match over at syl-vyn's work place from 9 to 11am

Opponents will be youths from Pastor Nicholas's Church ...

Hoping to win , Hoping to see support .

Somehow as i progress into my career, I slowly see god's plans for my life unveil before my eyes.

I still remember vividly asking Isaiah for a Job Changing opportunity, i asked David as well, i asked Jonny as well ... I was keen on getting my life straight with God and i wanted to lead a life worth being called a Child Of God ...

Looking back , its been a good 6 to 7 months since i made the decision, getting my life straight was simply a renewing of my life to god and a covenant i've made with the big guy on the throne.
My Job in high achievers was something that many never thought i would do, certainly it was never a career i thought i would explore in but God works in miraculous ways and in this place, i've learnt to speak confidently and i've learnt many valuable life long lessons. I've met amazing people whom i'm extremely thankful to have around my sphere of influence.

My personal mission that i've took on over the course of my work, Changing and Moulding Lives... Some how god gives me the ability to just be able to converse with students and counselling them with words that were definately not from me... Somehow i always seem to be meeting students who have very dramatic backgrounds and my most recent, this girl told me " Coach Isaac, the only reason i'm staying alive is for my younger siblings whom i've been looking after since i'm young, I know if i'm gone, no one would look after them!!! "

Its such times i ask the word of god jus flow naturally from my lips and into the hearts of such students. My Big Boss told me , Isaac, the words u say and use are actually words of wisdom... GOD - GIVEN wisdom , always let god speak through us and then u'll see god's movement in the session.

Today's Praise and Worship was easiest my most tiring One i've ever attended !!! Jumping and Praising and worshiping god feels so good !!!!!!

Truely like the song says , I'm Counting On God !!!! Really am and i know i've got Joy thats unspeakable that wont go away as well !!!!!

Just wanna thank god for everything that he did for me and place before me !!!

COSB !!!! Its time we take what is ours and claim our territories for GOD !!!!!

Its been one hell of a month in January...

My first experience on what it means to go into peak period ...

Feb would be crazier with all the PSAs and PSLs to come ....

First up ... St Nics !!!

I broke my individual best yesterday after i swam a total of 80 laps in the swimming pool !!!

Could not feel my back yesterday and the whole of today during training.

Today at East Spring Secondary, i came across this student.

He was smart looking and all , he reads alot of books but behind that mask, i saw alot of pain and grief in the heart. When i asked him what were his dreams, he told me his a failure, he looks down on himself and he has serious esteem issues.

I had a good talk with him after the session and discovered this boy with all the potential was actually unwilling to open up his heart to people, he only has 1 friend and he has never ever made friends with other people.

In his post evaluation form, in the area of the any changes would you like to life , he wrote ' Only god knows, i'm only living my life for my friend ( My Only Friend ) who has given me hope. I'm living on borrowed time '

I was stunned by such words from a 15 yr old student. I seriously ask and pray that our god save keep this boy and let nothing happen to him .

Purposeful Week ...

Its been a great week for me ... Really purposeful ....

Something i thank god everyday for would be my current job ... If not for him to open an opportunity .... i doubt i would ever be able to find what really gives me joy ...

I spent my saturday and sunday in Berakit ... Out in the mission field ... Serving the people of the fishing village...

Its heart warming to see the little kids sing with so much zest and energy ... Its awesome to see the kids participate in the games and the art and craft sessions so receptively ...

It was such a different experience from what we have in singapore... I feel the kids are too spoilt in singapore and honestly dont understand the term 'HARDSHIP'.

I didnt make and assumptions about our kids being spoilt over just 1 trip to berakit , but its more of a collection of what i see when i visit schools for training and the kids from our church ... We've got everything we could ever one and i feel this could eventually one day come back to haunt us .

It was a great weekend for me in berakit seeing ppl like aunty veron , uncle kim song , uncle jimmy in action ... I had fun with the kids ... I seriously encourage ppl to visit the mission fields if they can ... It would seriously be a life changing experience.

One crazy week with minimal sleep .... Blocks of sleep here and there and awesome leaders from various schools everywhere ...

Quedos to Elgin , Yvonne , Sabby , Julian , Sean , Zico and of course Jo-ann ... You guys played an integral part for this camp to be successful !!!

I love my team for the chemistry between us , the lame lame jokes that were always shared among the guys ... SO EGG-Citing ... I look forward to spending many many more yrs with you ppl because you guys made a significant impact in my life ...

The camp was awesome due to the enthusiasm and the receptiveness of the leaders ... Many of them made a significant impression on me to know that they will bring forth change in their schools after the summit.

Finally !!!

Been awhile ... Pretty much busy with work ....

There's one thing that i really wanna do over this month and many weeks and thats to thank god for his grace in my life ... I thank god for a great and awesome job , thank god for great colleagues , thank god for great buddies in church and thank god for an awesome girlfriend ...

All in all ... I'm back ... i think i'm starting to be active in church again ...

This is a super delayed decision but i'm glad i made this choice ...

Its Been A really Crazy last 2 weeks , from finally deciding to leave my present job , to sending in a resume to High achievers , then getting a call from them asking me for an interview , to completing the interview and of course now ... the waiting process for an answer ... its sure madness in my point of view

I've always wanted to have a switch in wat i'm doin for a living , so i decided to ask Isaiah Das if he had any jobs to introduce to me .

He asked His close friend and got back to me really quickly and Isaiah even helped me out with my Resume !!!! hahaha ... How could i do without him hahaha ...

Anyway , i sent in my resume and the next day i recieved a call from High Achievers asking me for an interview for the post " Learning and Development Consultant "

I was thrilled and extremely excited but at the same time i was having mixed feelings about the interview as i've never really gone thru a proper interview , this was my virgin try at trying to land a JOB for my future ...

Prayed more then usual for this interview ...

Then the day came and i was there for an interview , many said to appear confident and that would do the job , So i attempted to look confident , but never did i know tat i would have to feel up a exam paper like answer sheet with questions on it .

Q1. State as much Safety Precautions that you'll have to look out if the activity Revolves ard Running and Physical Contact for Primary and secondary Sch students ?

Q2a. What would u do if a clique of 10 classmates suddenly decide to not participate in an event for the class with the excuse of being tired ?

Q2b.While Teaching a 3 hr program and you're half way there , 2 girls from the first row Started talking out loud to each other and the 2nd and 3rd row are starting to get distracted , what would u do ?

Q2c.What Would u do if suddenly during your program , a fight broke out btw 3 boys at the back row , punches were thrown and you have a facilitator with you but she's of the opposite gender ?

I was stunned for a moment hahaha ... But then went on to answer those questions ...

After Answering the questions , i thought thats all for my using of brains ... and its time for some proper talk .

So i thought ... The Interviewer went on with tell me more abt yourself and what are your likes and dislikes .

I thought i was aceing it thru , Just went it became really comfortable , He went on with .......

" ok now i would like you to present on one of the three topics and you'll have 10 mins to prepare before you present ."

" Your Audience will be a group of Sec 2 express students from Blah blah blah sec "

I was Stunned YET again !!! hahaha ...

It was a challenge that i've never thought i would come across ...

All in all , if not by god's grace i think i would have Died in the interview

Thank God for an amazing 2 hr interview ...

now will have to pray for my results coming up the next week ...

SINGAPORE : With seven European Cups in the trophy cabinet and 18 international club titles in all, AC Milan are one of the biggest names in football.

In their 109—year history, the Italian giants have also produced some of football’s biggest superstars, including Franco Baresi and Paolo Maldini.

Now, the 17—time Serie A champions are believed to be keen on establishing a foothold in Singapore.

TODAY has learnt that Milan plan to set up a football school in Singapore. According to sources, the project — to be called AC Milan Junior Camp — will be for youngsters aged between six and 18. The camp will provide the highest quality of football coaching by the club.

One of the parties involved is believed to be a local hotel group and negotiations are currently ongoing.

When ready, it would be the first football camp in South—east Asia established by the Italian giants, and one of two in Asia, after the one in Japan. The club also have an official football camp in the United States, and all are designed to enable youngsters youths to pick up football skills and foster new friendships.

According to sources, a delegation from Milan could be in Singapore as early as next week to explore possible sites for the camp and also to meet local officials. The Rossoneri could well have the Champions League trophy in tow for the three—day visit, tentatively scheduled from April 14—16.

Milan are the outgoing holders of the trophy, having beaten Liverpool 2—1 in last year’s final in Athens. Last month, they were eliminated at the first knock—out stage of this season’s competition by Arsenal and the club, currently coached by Carlo Ancelotti, are lying in fifth spot in Serie A, 20 points behind city rivals Inter Milan

I will build my church,' Jesus said, 'and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.' (Matthew 16:18)

The lead story on Drudge this past weekend was the Pope baptizing a prominent Egyptian author who converted from Islam to Catholicism. It's a huge story in Italy and the Muslim world, especially coming as it did the week that Osama bin Laden accused the Pope of waging a 'crusade' against Islam. But this particular baptism is just the tip of the iceberg.

Despite unprecedented press coverage of Afghanistan, Iraq, and the Middle East since September 11, 2001, one big story is generally not being told by the mainstream media. Hundreds of thousands of Muslims are converting to evangelical Christianity and will be celebrating their first Easter this year, even amidst widespread persecution and the very real threat of death.

I first began reporting this story in 2005 after interviewing some three dozen Arab and Iranian pastors and evangelical Christian leaders in the U.S. and the Middle East. Over the last three years, however, I have had the privilege of traveling to Iraq, Jordan, Egypt, the West Bank, Turkey, and Morocco. What's more, I have had the honor of meeting with and interviewing more than 200 Arab, Iranian, Kurdish, Sudanese and other pastors and Christian leaders. With more data, the trend lines are becoming even clearer and the story is even more exciting.

The God of the Bible is moving powerfully in the Middle East to draw men, women and children to His heart and adopt them into His family in record numbers. More Muslims have come to faith in Jesus Christ over the last thirty years -- and specifically over the last seven to ten years -- than at any other time in human history. There is a revival going on among the ancient Catholic, Coptic, and Chaldean churches. Today, the Church is being truly resurrected in the lands of its birth.

Consider the latest evi dence:

* AFGHANISTAN -- In Afghanistan, for example, there were only 17 known evangelical Christians in the country before al-Qaeda attacked the United States. Today, there are well over 10,000 Afghan followers of Christ and the number is growing steadily. Church leaders say Afghan Muslims are open to hearing the gospel message like never before. Dozens of baptisms occur every week. People are snatching up Bibles and other Christian books as fast as they can be printed or brought into the country. The Jesus film, a two hour docudrama on the life of Christ based on the Gospel of Luke, was even shown on television in one city before police shut down the entire TV station. â€God is moving so fast in Afghanistan, we're just trying to keep up,' one Afghan Christian worker told me, requesting anonymity. 'The greatest need now is leadership development. We need to train pastors to care for all these new believers.'

* UZBEKISTAN -- There were no known Muslim converts to Christ there in 1990. Now there are more than 30,000.

* IRAQ -- As I shared on Fox & Friends on Easter morning, in Iraq, there were only a handful of Muslim converts to Christianity back in 1979 when Saddam Hussein took full control of that country. Yet today, there are more than 70,000 Iraqi Muslim background believers in Jesus (MBBs), approximately 50,000 who came to Christ as refugees in Jordan after the first Gulf War in 1990-91, and another 20,000 who have come to Christ since the fall of Saddam Hussein. John Moser, the executive director of The Joshua Fund, and I just returned from nine days traveling through five provinces in Iraq. We met with 19 Iraqi evangelical Christian leaders. I had the privilege of preaching in a church of more than 100 MBBs from Baghdad -- a church that didn't even exist in 2002 before liberation. We also had the privilege of meeting and interviewing numerous former Islamic jihadist terrorist who have come to Christ and are now pastors and church planters.

* KAZAKHSTA N -- In Kazakhstan, there were only three known evangelical Christian believers before the collapse of the Soviet Union in 1991. Today there are more than 15,000 Kazakh Christians, and more than 100,000 Christians of all ethnicities.

* EGYPT -- More than 1 million Egyptians have trusted Christ over the past decade or so, report Egyptian church leaders. The Egyptian Bible Society told me they used to sell about 3,000 copies of the Jesus film a year in the early 1990s. But in 2005 they sold 600,000 copies, plus 750,000 copies of the Bible on tape (in Arabic) and about a half million copies of the Arabic New Testament. 'Egyptians are increasingly hungry for God's Word,' an Egyptian Christian leader told me. Last Christmas, I had the privilege of visiting the largest Christian congregation in the Middle East, which meets in an enormous cave on the outskirts of Cairo. Some 10,000 believers worship there every weekend. A prayer conference the church held in May 2005 drew some 20,000 believers.

* IRAN -- In 1979 when the Ayatollah Khomeini led the Islamic Revolution, there were only about 500 known Muslim converts to Christianity. Today, interviews with two dozen Iranian pastors and church leaders reveals that there are well over 1 million Shia Muslim converts to Christianity.

* SUDAN -- Despite a ferocious civil war, genocide and widespread religious persecution, particularly in the Darfur region -- or perhaps because of such tragedies -- church leaders there tell me that more than 1 million Sudanese have made decisions to follow Jesus Christ just since 2001. Since the early 1990s, more than 5 million Sudanese have become followers of Jesus. Seminary classes to train desperately- needed new pastors are held mountain caves. Hundreds of churches have been planted, and thousands of small group Bible studies are being held in secret throughout the country.

In December 2001, Sheikh Ahmad al Qataani, a leading Saudi cleric, appeared on a live interview on Aljazeera satellit e television to confirm that, sure enough, Muslims were turning to Jesus in alarming numbers. 'In every hour, 667 Muslims convert to Christianity, ' Al Qataani warned. 'Every day, 16,000 Muslims convert to Christianity. Every year, 6 million Muslims convert to Christianity. ' Stunned, the interviewer interrupted the cleric. 'Hold on! Let me clarify. Do we have six million converting from Islam to Christianity? ' Al Qataani repeated his assertion. 'Every year,' the cleric confirmed, adding, 'a tragedy has happened.'

One of the most dramatic developments is that many Muslims throughout the Middle East and even in the United States are seeing dreams and visions of Jesus. They are coming into churches explaining that they have already converted and now need a Bible and guidance on how to follow Jesus. This is in fulfillment of Biblical prophecy. The Hebrew Prophet Joel told us that 'in the last days, I will pour out my Spirit on all people. Your sons and daughters will prophesy, your old men will dream dreams, your young men will see visions. Even on my servants, both men and women, I will pour out my Spirit in those days....And everyone who calls on the name of the LORD will be saved.' (Joel 2:28-32)

In Epicenter: Why The Current Rumblings In the Middle East Will Change Your Future, I devoted an entire chapter to these dramatic trend lines and why Muslims are converting in record numbers. I am currently working on a new non-fiction book and documentary film called Inside The Revolution, to be released during Easter 2009, with much more detail on this subject, including first person accounts of former Muslim terrorists who have become the new Apostle Pauls of our time -- murderous religious zealots who had visions of Jesus Christ and are now pastors, evangelists, church planters and powerful Christian leaders. Other books I would highly recommend on this subject are Light Force: A Stirring Account of the Church Caught in the Middle East Crossfire by Brother Andrew and Al Janssen; and Secret Be lievers: What Happens When Muslims Believe In Christ.

Is life easy for these Muslim converts? By no means. They face ostracism from their families. They face persecution from their communities. They face being fired by their employers. They face imprisonment by their governments. They face torture and even death at the hands of Muslim extremists. But they are coming to Christ anyway. They are becoming convinced that Jesus is, in fact, the Way, the Truth, and the Life, and that no one comes to the Father in heaven except through faith in Jesus' death on the cross and powerful resurrection from the dead.

One of the reasons my wife and I began The Joshua Fund was to educate the Church around the world at what God of the Bible is doing in the epicenter. We want to mobilize a global movement of Christians praying for these dear brothers and sisters. We want to find ways to encourage and strengthen them. We want to provide them with Bibles and Christian literature, and with humanitarian relief supplies so they can love their neighbors and their enemies, as Jesus tells us to do. Their stories are typically not being told by the mainstream media, but they are important stories nonetheless. Theirs are testimonies of the greatness of our great God.

Its finally 3 mths and 30 days more to ORD ...

Sure am looking forward to it ... so i can resume my normal life ...

Its starting to feel like i'm dragging my boots to work everyday , i jus wan to get out of it ... aint exactly having the time of my life anymore ...

Its been a yr of ups and dwns ...

The first 6 mths of 2007 was a horrid time for me ...

I guess .... through out my life ... i'm generally a very patient person ...

I can sit there and teach someone till he / her understands without complaining abit ...

but wat i cant stand the most is when someone isnt putting in effort to try and work things out ...

Camp has been crazy with alot of work , life runs and gym training ...

I've been running at least 7 km 3 times a week plus my extra gym training ... Its taking a toll on me ...

I always believe tough training reaps outstanding rewards =) Working hard to lose more weight , i'm FAT already =( ...

Children's Camp is coming , goin to be a tiring period for me , as i've got alot of lessons tat i've gotta teach ... Lessons for the new batch of Trainess , then rush to SR camp , then back to camp on monday ...

I'm sick !!!

That seriously sucks to the core man ...

Today's suppose to be my gym day with yiwei ...

Jus when the cuts on my arms are slowly becoming visible ... i have to be sick !!! AHH !!!

Dont really know why too ... when i was driving to camp yesterday morning ... i had alot of pain ... Almost crashed into an on coming car cause i lost my concentration due to the pain ... thank god i regained control at the very final secs haha ... if not i'll be in the hospital now haha ...

Got to camp ... took 2 panadols ... knocked out in the office ... woke up ard 9 plus with a splitting headache !!!

Yiwei advised me to visit the MO ... told him they are not efficient enough ...

Ta han the pain all the way till 3 plus till i really cant take it anymore ... pushed my lunch away haha ... totally no appetite ...

Decided to take 1/2 day off to go home and sleep !!!!

woke up still feel really drowsy haha ... but still went out to meet her for dinner haha ... i didnt eat anything for the whole day ... so i managed to finish my bar chor mee =) ...

after tat i visited the doc near my place !!!

I've got gastric flu , severe headache , fever and pood poisoning !!!

Dont really know where did those sicknesses came from but when i got home ...

Realised my brother also lost the battle againsnt the gastric flu virus ...

Another great week ...

My 2nd last week in SI ...

This week was line summary Ex and Ex AHF ...

i think this was the most physically demanding week ...

Line was crazy as we had a hard time reeling back the lines haha ... The reeling equipment was extremely heavy !!!

Then comes AHF ... sure was fun haha ... was deployed at kranji damp carpark A =) ...had to spent a night over there ... sure was cold and boring at times during the night ...

Thankfully ... i had things to do during the night to kill my time ...

Finally ... the weekend arrives ...

I had a walk ard Takashimaya yesterday ...

walked pass the sports corner , there was a crazy sports sale !!!

Couldnt resist a good buy .. so i decided to spent $80 on a pair of running shoes ... Super duper worth it man ...

Bought a running singlet and a pair of shorts too ...

pretty crazy abt runnin this days =) ...

Finally ... Jus got home from dinner and movie with her =) ...

we watched Evan almighty ...

Pretty funny but in my view not as good as Bruce Almighty ...

Seems like yesterday when i celebrated my 21st birthday ...

never really did a huge party for myself ...

Didnt believe anyone would turn up for it anyway ...

Simple is the way to go for me especially when it comes this kind of things ...

My 21st was celebrated at home !!! I had food poisoning then ...

laid flat on the bed ... then to have the guys storm my grandma's house haha ...

Sure was amazed that they made tat effort ... i love them to the core =) ...

Hi yo ppl ...

Been awhile since i updated this blog ...

Been busy ... Very busy both in the army and out ...

The last 2 weeks were awesome for me =)

I had a 33 km route march haha ... without instructors ... self topo and every check point there'll be a station in which the team of 4 will have to clear =) ....

I had my buddy , Smarty pants Wei hong and Snorlex Joshua haha ...

I was the topo king and the fast march boy ... so i led the team throughout =) ...

Was really fun to have them in the same team ... cant ask for more =) ....

Then the following was even better but extremely tiring as it was my Grad Parade from SI at sispec ... Had a Commando MWO doin the parade ... all the se-di-yas and hern-ta-ka-ki almost made my knee go dead ... Thankfully with god ... i lasted through it =) ...

Seriously ... as i look back ... my current rank took a really long detour ... As much as i try not to think abt it ... cant help but to feel sad at times .. knowing u are so close to bein an officer then to have ur dream go dwn the drain ... haiz ...

BUT BUT BUT ... i'm fine dont worry =) ... Dajie ... dont worry abt me alright .. have fun in HK haha ... Quany is doin really well now ...

No longer hanging on to the past ... moving forward everyday with a smile =) ...

For chinny and leb .. if u're wondering where i went like late at night tat day ... i went to fetch someone home cause she was with a drunk frend ... so i can help but to offer my services as it was alot safer to have me send her home then him u see =) ...

Its been many mths since i last saw u ...

Anyways ... Rush Hour 3 was great .... Really Funny ... i totally recommend it to everyone ... love the way chris tucker dances in the first part of the show and when he beats up the back guys ... ending it with a song a dance of Kunfu Fighting haha ...

Actually ... i wanan watch it again haha ... its worth the money haha ... good laugh !!!

After tat ... Since i was in Bishan ... i dated the guys out for supper haha ...

Its been a really tiring week ...

First in many mths actually ...

Packed with Exercises , route marches and AHM training ...

I mean i've never put myself through more pain then this week ...

Exercises drained me big time ... i was complaining to someone tat i hate advising ppl on map plannin cause the guys dont have a foundation to build on ... which means i've gotta start from scratch ... which in turn equals to i do for them ...

Tats wat happened eventually ... had to plan for them ... haiz ...

Then comes the route march at ECP ...

I had fun cause when singing we actually sang ...

haha ... tats funny ...

i walked 3/4 of the 16km with a loose right boot cause my lace snapped jus after 2-3 km of walking !!!

I ended up having severe blistering for both feet ...

My soles are blistered and i'm having difficulties from walking ...

To make things worst ... i had to run a 6km run at Pasir ris park ...

6 km isnt long to any extent ... but to run 6km on the following day after a 16 km route march ... is too taxing for me already ...

Didnt have enough time to rest haha ... the RAC tat i did was a NO GO ... haha ...

But nevertheless ... i still ran haha ... Thank goodness i had staff SIM ( commando ) and 1sgt Alan ( NDU ) to run with me ... we were all tired haha ... but we manage to come in top 5 haha ...

so tats a plus point for me haha ...

Met up with alan for dinner and subsequently nicky , jerrick and amanta haha ...

nice to see ppl whom i've not seen for ages ... Missed the good old days for sure ...

But everyone's gotta grow up i guess ...

Attempted to play tennis on sat morning at lebs place haha ...

Was pretty funny cause all of us are noob cakes haha ...

Only looking pro but not playing pro haha ...

tried to run , hurts like crap and tat plagued my day haha ...

Was home till the evening when i decided to limp to IMM with my mummy haha ...

Bought 2 New Balance runnign singlets for $15 each ... good buy haha ...

Another week has passed ...

This week was quite tiring ... NO NO ... rephrase ... VERY SUPER UBERLY TIRING ...

Had an exercise this week , alot of map planning for me to do , alot of cordination between me and my friends , to make sure things dont screw up ...

Alot of sacrifices on my part ... ( Sleepless nights )

Then had to play soccer for Signals Institute ( Inter-unit competition)

Glad this week is over finally ...

Went to lebs place on friday for Zone 3 ....

To be serious found it quite hard to relate to my situation now during david's talk on Why do ppl work and all ...

I mean i know its for the money and all but still hard to relate ... maybe cause i'm in the army i guess ...

At times feel like a slave haha ... but it aint tat bad i guess ... Armour was alot worse =)

Sat Afternoon met up with Lee Yuen for a trip to Queensway shopping centre to get some stuff and a gathering ...

havent seen him since like a really long time ... but oh well ... his been a great buddy since secondary school ... Though far away in Aussy ... would always talk abt all things on msn ...

Then comes Prawning at night !!!

Am currently back in training ... At stagmont AKA slackmont camp ...

This was today's sermon ...

Am i a 2nd generation chrisitan ??? Aint exactly born into the church since i was a kid ...

My experiences with god has been numerous ...

But am i still a 2nd generation christian ???

Hmm... oh well ...

So so many times in my life ... i've always fallen away from him ... Every time i would have a really really big fall ... time after time i would always somehow pick myself up ...

Many many impt landmarks in life ...

When i first fractured my right leg ....

When i got my driving license ...

When i had Yi wen ...

When i was platoon best ...

When i entered OCS ...

All this marked the successes of my life ...

I've always been really confident abt myself ...

But when times turn bad ... i literally crumble dwn and i'm always humbled ....

I thank god really ... for the fact tat I'm still alive today !!!

i did not get permanently injured ... i've been able to move on from the setbacks in life ... Though not completely yet ... but i'm getting there =)

I might get really upset on the 9th of june but i'm sure i'll finally be able to let it go ...

Afterall NS is jus 2 yrs ... Though this sounds really vulgar ... i totally agree to this saying

Times when i've given everything ... its never a win win situation ... and i always seem to lose ... guess its life ...

I've been promoted !!!!!!!!! I'm a CPL now ...

Tat jus sucks la .... means i'm taking a pay cut to 550 !!!! horrible !!!!!!!

time flies when u got lots of things to do ...

I've made more friends during my time in taiwan ...

Was nice being part of the exercise troop there ... OC driver on an ultra was quite fun ...

I feel happy for them ... it sure was a tough period to go through ... being homesick and making sure they dont screw up ...

Tats wat sets normal man from OCTs apart ... We were taught how to prioritise according to the situations thrown to us ... No room for heart ache ...

I cried a hell lot of times in life ...

After the X-ray for my right knee was out ...

When she decided to part at the esplanade on 28th jan ...

I've been through alot over my yrs in life since sec sch ... Fracturing my leg in sec 4 literally ruined all my dreams to go pro in soccer ...

After working so hard to get into OCS ... i had the time of my life in alpha ... then to have yiwen with me during tat period made all the hard work worthwhile ...

Armour ... wat a crappy place ... My life fell apart there ... broke up ... got injured and now OOCED ...

Watever can go wrong did ... I hurt myself in SOC ... ok fine ... i can endure tat pain ... To Fall off the ultra cause some idiot made a safety breach ... wat else is there to look forward to , his goin to commission , not me ...

I'm injured cause of him ... Lousy bastard ...

I'm fallin apart now ... My mental state is nowhere near ok ... I'm breaking dwn ...

On the eve of section field camp and lots of more training to come ... More weekends burnt ... haha ... oh well i shall update my blog b4 alls too late...

I'm actually surprised tat i could come home this weekend cause initially i was suppose to have guard duty ... guess they knew i was depressed so yeah ...

Over this 1 mth , lotsa shit happened in my life ...been really down ... been really depressed ... affected literally everything revolving my life ... My health became really bad ... getting injured during training , falling sick ... puffy eyes due to crying ... Training wise , i was deemed too outspoken and seem to look like i wanna rebel against the instructors though seriously never had tat intention ... jus stating some reasonable facts which were not really well recieved by them ...

I know my buddies are out there worrying abt me and my well being ... dont worry ... I may be dwn ... but i'm still the same ... i picked myself up from it once ... i'll try to do it again ... As much as i know it really pains and hurts me to know i've lost the one thing in this world tat means everything to me ... i'll look on the bright side ... Someone better will come and treat her well ...
Losing her made me realise one thing , sometimes giving ur all isnt really enough ... oh well ...

Went out with my buddies in camp last night for some lan gaming ... CS , Quake , half life ... u name it , we played it haha ... Havent done tat in ages ... Sure feels good doin it ...

3 mths 3 weeks more to commissionin ... 6 more weeks to ROC ... i cant wait for it ... i wanna look proud on tat parade sqr ...

Will i be there ??? Will ESSR be there to see me commission ??? Will My special someone be there ???

Its been a mth since we split ... Am i recovering from it ???

I guess i'm feeling slightly better not cause i dont like her anymore ... Just beginnin to not think so much ... She's still on my mind ... Most of the time ... when i look back at the times we shared together ... they were probably one of the best moments in life for me ... its amazing how i had her and lost her .... Things happened so sudden ...

At times i feel really cheated ... All the efforts tat i've placed into this relationship went dwn the drain ... I guess she's got her own reasons for hurting me ... Its not easy to do it but she seems to do it with ease ...

maybe its really for the better for both of us ... If its ur will god , bring us back together when the time is right again ...

Ppl whom have been concern abt me ... thank u for the care and concern ... jus let me learn to pick myself up from this very heart breaking event ... I'll stand up again ... hopefully soon ...

I hope things are really getting better for her now ... dont know how she's doin now ... I'm being ignored and she probably even blocked me on msn ... so yeah ... if she sees this ... i pray daily tat u'll get better each day ... i'm sure god will bring ur family through all this crap ... Dont forget the verse tat kept u goin when we had each other ... it still applies now ...

Dear all ... i know u guys have been worried abt me and my well-being

Dont worry ... i'm still hanging on to watever tats left in me ... Though physically i'm really trashed , at points in life almost a gone fark ... i'm still hanging on , suffered alot of injuries during training .

Though my heart is really really broken into pieces ... I've never been so disappointed in something b4 , it will take a long time for me to recover but yeah ... time will heal i hope ...

3 weeks of misery will start to come to an end ... its really hard to let her go and even though i dont to , i'll jus have to let go this time rnd if tats wat really means to be happy for her ...

I only pray tat if she's the one for me she'll be mine in future ....

Ppl say if u bring someone for OCS social night and then if u bring the same person for Commissionin ball , then u know she's the one who will spent the rest of ur life with ...

After a week in School Of Armour ... time for Socjot ... My week in camp was pretty ok haha ... thought would have been worst .. god pulled me through haha ...

While in camp ... Yiwen has been really really supportive ... always encouragin me ... oh well behind every successive man is a lovely women ... haha .. she's my lovely dear girl ...

Today i'm leaving for brunei ... had the whole morning and half of e afternoon with her ... my best time with her ever ... loving every single sec with her ...

She jus makes my days of hardwork all worthwhile as i push towards my bookout and my return from brunei on the 11th of jan ...

She said I LOVE U to me today haha ... oh well .. first time la ... seldom she says all this ...

Why is it tat problems jus come one after another ???

I'm so sick of it ...

Ppl say its abt taking it in ur stride , some say pray and let go do the rest ...

Is bottling things up in my heart good for me ??? There is so much i wanna tell her ... but i dont know if i should ... For all i know she might jus get offended and then comes a quarrel ...

I desperately wan time alone with her , but time is so scarce ... Its not something i have and i so want it bad ...

While walking away from her car today ... i was tearing away ... i jus knew she could not make it back to be with me after fetching her mum ... Its so hard to jus see her for tat hr or tat limited amt of mins ... Army has to come in and bring me to brunei on Jan 2nd 2007 for 10 days for socjoc ...

Knowing SOA is not like signals where things are really slack , i probably would not be able to see her for this coming week unless she is willing to give up some of her time for me ... My bookout day seems like a lousy sunday mornin ... a sat morning would be a miracle ...

This week will be a really depressing week ... its not even started and i'm already feeling it and am super affected by it ...

Everyday's a learning experience ... i'm still learning how to graps limited time frame and eagerness to see her ...

Days in Alpha wing officially ends here ... it all started on 18th of sep 2006 and after 3 long mths ... it finally comes to an end today 23rd Dec 2006... I'll move on to School of Armour to continue my trainin as an officer of the nation ...

Its really saddenin and really demoralising to let go of ppl whom have been there through thick and thin with u ... regardless how lousy and weak u are ... No one is being despised in Platoon 3 ... everyone is the same ... I wanna say tat my buddies in ocs have been the first few real friends i've ever met ... This ppl are real and true towards u ... sincere and never hiding any hidden agendas ...

i love my friends and u guys will always have a place in my heart !!!!

This week is by far one of my favourite weeks of OCS ....

I'm jus glad this went well in camp for this week , alot of worries abt whether Alpha will bookout on Sat night after 63/06 OCT's commissionin parade ... MG live firing , Demo Live firing !!! Ippt !!! Route march !!!

It was a really tiring week to be serious ... the week started out really really crappy , knowing tat now her mum is not agreein to let her attend social night with me .. tat SUCKS !!! I dont really know how she feels , but when i heard the news , i'm stunned and speechless ... i cant believe my luck , the one and only girl tat means the world to me may not be attending my social night with me .. haiz ... oh well ... i was thinking Take 3 extra and forget abt it ...

Sometimes i dont know if she feels the things i feel ... i may seem ok to her requests but deep dwn i'm really not feeling fine abt it ... i give in , i try to understand without an complaints , maybe abit of whinin tats all =) but its all good ... i know her difficulties so i give ...

I would rather i give in and let her be happy ... As long as she's smillin , i'll be happy too =)

Wed was IPPT , i scored my first silver cause of my jumping , this silver serious was delayed for a really really long time man ..cant believe i took so long to achieve this silver... oh well the came sat !!! IPPT again !!! Guess wat !!! I SCORED GOLD !!! MUHAHAHA ... I'm good !!! no la .. alot of sweat and blood has been put into achieving this gold .. i'm jus glad no more ippt for me untill proterm ...

i've got a pressie for wen , Today 10 of december is actually a pretty significant day ... Kinda like a 3 mth annivesary ... jus too bad she is still tired and refuses to leave her place ... so cant pass it to her , SUCK THUMB lor .. no choice ...

I havent really had time with her like the last few mths , we havent really spent time together like how i wished we could ... its getting hard for me ... of course for her too ... I was tellin sylvyn this morning when we had breakfast tat she actually wish i dont call her tat much and dont send tat much sms to her cause she says if i send too much , if i go away for a long period both will find it hard to get by those days without one another ... Is tat true ??? i dont relaly know .. vyn was saying i spend as much time as i can with her ... i dont know ... she cant give me her time as much anyway ... Work is like an obligation to her ... No choice .. she's paid to do it ... suck thumb also .. dont wanna do also cannot ... pretty much the same for me in the army , i dont have a choice as well .. suck thumb ...

2 weeks long of tiredness and sickness

Its been a really really long week , million of things happened over this 2 week , sweet things , bad things and jus loads and loads of crap ...

I was appointed CPC for Alpha platoon 3 , jus in case u guys dont know wat is cpc , is Cadet Platoon Commander ... To be serious i was not expecting such responsibility handed over to me , Lta Haniff was like " Isaac , why are u so stunned , should have saw it coming man !!! "

Oh well , since i got appointed , i've been complainin to Yiwen abt how much i dont like responsibilities , how much i hated to enforce things onto my peers jus to make sure we dont get FCUK bt the instructors , so far so good i guess , havent kena much shit from the instructors for the past 2 weeks , 2 more weeks to go , commander's parade coming already , means i get to hold the sword !!! MUHAHAHA ... feels like a commissionin parade ...

Then came the week ends , Yiwen met grandma and uncle at their place , dont really know how she does it but their impression of her was like WOW ... never seen my granny like someone so fast b4 , gotta hand it to her la , her smile wins a million hearts ... Then went on with alot of things and all ... the weekend jus felt really good ...

Ex Scorpion King next up ... Split into 2 parts , Ex Zebra and Ex Spade , Ex Zebra i was sect Com for section 3 , boy it was fun !!! Led by Lta Delson ,haha, Fire Movement up the knoll was the most Siong thing i ever did so far then incorporated SKM , lagi taxing man ... i hurt myself in the process , while diving to my cover , my knee hit a tree root , OUCH ... but i tahan ... the rain was making things really bad especially for my health and all ... i had a really bad migrain during 1st half of spade , once i'm done with shellscrape , i collapsed on the floor ... never passed out b4 , next thing i knew i was in the training shack waiting to visit the medical centre ...

I'm super haggard now , super lots of outbreak , super tired ...

Wenny is goin through some hard times with her mum , mummy does not approve somethings in life ... its goin to be hard ... but hang in there dear , i'm with u =) remember i wont let u go !!! So dont u dare let go ...

My week of hell

Many things happen over this whole week , or should i say since the beginnin of the weekends last week ...

Things tat i would have not thought would ever happen eventually did ...

My dad got admitted into the hospital last week due to some discomfort in the stomach which eventually led to the discovery of internal bleeding in the stomach...

My week went from bad to worst , i've got 3 outfields to attend , M203, matador live firing , section live firing and quick attack !!! all 3 really tiring and physically demanding ...

Basically , i was at my lowest for my physical state and my mental state ... drained from all the energy tat i used to have ... tiring ... really really tiring...

Things btw me and yiwen arent tat ad for now , though i wish i had more time with her and all , i want some quality time with her alone without any disturbance from the outside world , as much as i wan those things , i know they are pretty much impossible , she's really busy with her stuff and all , so having her for awhile is better then not having her at all ...

My Long weekend ....

My long weekend started on friday !!!

Got home ard 8 plus 9 , wen was tired so yeah , she went home , i went out with my bmt buddies !!!

Went sim pang bedok to makan prata !!! haha , crazy places to go for supper made easy especially when u have a car to drive u ard ... hehe

Sat was a blast !!!! woke up feeling good cause i know i'm gonna see my sweetie !!! went for a run after tat , felt even better after tat haha , thought i really needed a new pair of running shoes so hop by QW to get myself a pair of shoes then drop by my uncle's place to visit my grandfather , its been a long long time since i seen him , i think the only time i saw him was , erm ... CNY ?? yeah , then he was not in a good shape , nows alot better , thank god so much for keeping him intact ...

Then comes DIYA's 21st celebration and me introducing wen to the gang , things went really well , like wat li juan said !!! She's a good choice !!! EK agrees to tat too !!! haha ... Wen will be super happy when she see's this ...

Sunday was a long long day man ... was in church from 8.30 till ard 4 plus b4 the guys decided to head dwn to MS for dinenr at waraku !!! Wenny was doin her rounds so i met her there b4 we head dwn to parkway parade !!! where i could spent some quality time with her .. hehe , glad things are working out fine =)

Went on to pick up her little sister !!! not really little la , 16 already right , my brother's the little one , still 15 only ...

Monday was CDO for Alpha wing , slacky day , felt really horrible la cause i had duty to do and felt super horrible knowing i cant be out in town ... but oh well , lucky the project room was equipped with internet and a super shoik air con haha ...

Back home today only at 8 !!! Suppose to meet her for a jog in ngee ann but she's tired so i decided to let her rest since she's still gotta work at 2 later ... miss her alot but oh well , somethings cant be helped la , like wat she always say !! SEE WHO ASK U GO OCS LA =)

Its been a really really really really long while since i actually blogged man !!!

I've been in OCS for the last 3 weeks

Was confined !!! During tat process many things happened man !!!

First my first day was very rush !!! I didnt even have time to bath then i had to lights out man !!!

well a day in ocs can be summarised in a few words !!! Crazy !!! Runnin !!! Push ups !!! Turn outs !!!

Trainings really tough compared to wat we have in Bmtc and i have to agree in OCS its where Cadets really learn to LEAD EXCEL and OVERCOME !!!

Everyday goes by without having some good times with my buddies in camp !!! it feels great to have them ard me cause we are the happiest section in our platoon !!!

I would say its the most tiring week i ever had in my whole BMTC days !!!

Activities for this week were Sch 1 Games day , IPPT and the most physically taxing 24km route march !!!!

Games day was fun !!! Its the day when Company pride became impt to me !!! Well , i participated in a game called the BOMBERS !!! Was something like a Dog & Bone game except tat we have ammunition in the shape of water bombs !!!! =P

Kestrel defeated gryphon !!!! Kestrel defeated Cougar !!!! But lost to EAGLE !!!
Actually i sent a guy who is 3 times my size crashing to the floor !!! Apparently i think he hurt himself =) !!!! Not my fault !!! he crash into me !!!!

Then comes IPPT !!! SAME OLD results except tat i pulled 9 chin ups this time round !!!! Quite Glad i up my chin ups !!!!

Then routemarch tat jus ended last night or should i say today morning at 1 !!! Its not as shag as i thought it would be but my shoulder blade hurts like crap now !!!!

I had to carry my field pack along with my platoon flag !!!

But i'm jus glad tat i completed it with the whole platoon !!!

I'm glad Lum , Brian , Atik , Jing Xun finished the march !!!!

Been a long long time since i updated this blog

So here it goes ....

This few weeks have been , hmm... how should i put it ?? Tiring i guess ....

Physically and mentally .... Both were really taxing ...

I got injured again ... But nothing big , so no worries , i pulled my thigh muscle while runnin 2.4 =)

Mentally alot of stuff been happening at home so yeah , tough time to get by .... thank god i've got my father in heaven to listen to my complains and all ...

I've had OC nite , 16 Km route march and my 2.4 timing jus gets better ...

Hopefully i recover in time for my final ippt , i would say tat my future depends alot of my ippt results and i so wanna do well ...

I've been thinking alot when i'm in camp and doin nothing , abt my future , abt my future gf , abt my studies ...

Hmm... I wonder wat does the future holds for me ???

Gosh , i feel like i'm utterin a load of crap man ...

Oh well , on the bright side , i probably get another few days off the army with my red eyes though i dont really wan tat to happen , i might jus miss out on some impt lessons.

yesterday ESSR went for durian and you tiao at geylang , i only ate the you tiaos cause those were my favourite =)

Then dajie da , me and leb went on to meet sophia and we went to her place to watch super band !!!!

MI LU BING WON !!!! We predicted it la ... Jus knew they were gonna win , Well done to MI LU BING again ...

While watching superband , we decided to order pizza for dinner !!! We tried out the new cheezy Bites !!! Its quite nice actually but its also very saltish at the same time ...

I finally booked out due to medical reasons !!!

haha ... Oh well , its jus a sore left eye tat i've got tats making me super duper uncomfortable when i woke up this morning !!! sucks !!!

Oh well , i mus have been infected when i was in sit test , few of my detail mates also went home due to sore eyes !!!

Speaking bout sit test !!! It was a BLAST !!!! I made alot of new frends !!! Guys from Apache were great , really sociable and made it really easy for kestrel guys to break the ice ....

CHEERS to JQ , JW , Chris , Danial , Don , CK and Chee En for making my sit test experience a great one man !!!

Lovely guys to work with , it was extremely easy to convey my ideas to them when i was the commander !!!

They made my mission the best out of the 12 we had !!!

I really wonder at times why somethings jus have to turn out this way , why cant things be simple ???

Field Camp Roxs

I got alot of 50 and 20 cents on my body !!!

Its like a misture of rashes , mosquito bites and sand fly bites according to my Sgt

I look ghotic when i went out last night to meet jeremy and mazlan for dinner then to cineleisure to meet my buddies from camp to play CS !!!

I had Crispy Chicken at Arab Strt !!!! shoiks ah ... was like super duper filling man !!!

then we walked and walked and walked and landed our butts at PS Starbucks haha...

Chatted mostly on army life la ... thats like the only thing tats keep us together now ...

Didnt really wanted to meet my army friends due to several reasons but still went ahead though
One super obvious reason was cause i'm extremely tired and i dont wanna hang out with certain malays ...

I shall upload my pics next week cause forgetful me didnt bring my camera home from camp !!! haha , means more pics to upload next week !!!

After 5 weeks !!!!

I've become slimmer

Darker

and Fitter !!!!

Last time i'll complain even just for doin 10 push ups

But on wed !!!! I did 85 pushs without complainin !!!!

20 for talking in the file , 20 for lousy stand by area and 25 more because lousy platoon 3 smoked in the toilet and got caught !!!!!

Dumb ppl testing the system !!!!

Anyway , i'm just enjoying my time in the army !!! its quite fun !!!

Jus had SOC lesson today !!! cleared all the odstacles man !!! SHOIKS ah !!!

I'm back from Pulau Tekong !!!

Army was super FUN !!!!

Singin while marching and runnin is like the best trainin for stamina !!!

Stripping a M16 in 25 secs was my best timin !!! Assembling took alittle longer haha !!! 35 secs haha ....
